This area has a massive cover of seasonal forests because the forests of this area are very virgin and intact. There are few rural populations that they live in depths of these forests. So is suitable for Trekking and Hiking programs. By going through the depths of the forest and getting to know the local inhabitants of the forest you will have access to high land & peaks also There is a very beautiful lake called Neor at the heights of this area. Watching the Caspian Sea from these heights is fantastic. These areas have enormous environmental conditions and trekking in this area is unique.
UNESCO has inscribed the Hyrcanian Forests to its World Heritage List in 2019. This is a natural attraction located at the north of the Alborz mountain range of Iran and south of the Caspian Sea.The Hyrcanian forests are a strip of 800 kilometers long, extending from northwest to the northeast of Iran. The name of these forests originates from the old name of Gorgan, which was formerly called Hyrcan. Today, this city is the capital of Golestan province, at the southeast of the Caspian Sea. The biodiversity and originality of the region and its rare and unique species of vegetation and animals attract visitors.
